School is one of the most important components of a child’s life. Not only is it the place where they obtain an education, but also the place where they develop social skills. And choosing the right institution for a child is crucial to their educational experience. We know that while parents decide what is the best school, students also have a say in their preference. At Renton Prep, we strive to provide a safe environment that is conducive to learning and that promotes friendship, collaboration, and gives children a voice. In addition, our technology driven and Christ-Centered curriculum motivate students to choose Renton Prep as their school.
At Renton Prep we understand that education is continuously evolving along with technology. The way students learn today is not the same as how kids learned 20 years ago. So with the implementation of cutting-edge technology in the classroom, students explore their creativity and problem-solving skills. Along with instilling Christian values, students are able to discover their identity and develop their voice in a global community. These values have created a learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to interact with each other. Thus, giving them a positive experience at our school.
One of our students, Heran Mengisteab, recently expressed how impactful our school has been and why she chooses Renton Prep as her institution.
“I’ve attended this school since the age of 4 and Amazing Grace/Renton Prep has become a second home to me and I couldn’t imagine ever really leaving. I have met so many friends who inspire me and teachers who’ve been my mentors, so many people who’ve shaped my life, and my fellow students’ lives forever.”
We believe that as an institution we have the responsibility to equip students with critical thinking and problem solving skills to succeed in relationships and careers. We are determined to guide our students by offering support all throughout their time at school. As Heran says in her own words:
“You’ve filled the school with love, fun, books, and music. The years I’ve spent at Renton prep has given me the foundation to face the future (my future). I haven’t just learned facts, figures, logic, and reasoning skills, but I have learned the value of friendship, loyalty, respect, and love.”
