The decision will be made by the leadership team if the family is no longer eligible for financial aid. An email will be sent stating the repeal and when the repeal will take place. An appeal can be made, but it is still up to the decision of the leadership team to decide if financial aid will be reinstated.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do we apply for financial aid ? Is there a process in place ?

Requests for financial aid are considered only after a student has received a letter of acceptance from our school, and completed the SSS financial aid application. Click here to apply for financial aid

  • Is financial aid available to international students ?

No. At this time financial aid is not available to international students.

  • Can we lose financial aid due to low grades ?

Yes. Anything that does not align with the mission, vision, and action of our schools can warrant a repeal of financial aid. However, grades that are suffering does not always constitute a repeal. Likewise, a student receiving financial aid that is earning excellent marks, but is not behaving in class could also warrant a repeal from the leadership team.

  • Is there a limited amount of financial aid available ?

Yes, Renton Prep has a limited budget for financial aid. At the start of each school year, financial aid requests are gathered through SSS. Make certain to start this process as soon as possible. Click here to apply for financial aid

  • Are there any full ride scholarships or financial aid available ?

No. Families are expected to pay tuition.

  • Do we have to apply each year ?

Yes, families must apply for financial aid each year. Due to the limited resources each year the allocation varies, so a financial aid award one year is not guaranteed and may differ the following year based on need, merit, and availability of funds.

  • If we are not granted financial aid, can we re-apply the following year if our financial situation changes ?

Yes, as a family’s financial status can change from year-to-year, this can also alter a subsequent year’s allotment of financial aid.
